HomeTending is the culmination of a lifetime spent designing, building, and caring for people.
I began my career at NC State University's College of Design, earning a degree in Industrial Design after studying architecture. I later founded a Raleigh-based design firm, serving businesses and corporations while developing residential real estate. Those years taught me to appreciate timeless design, quality craftsmanship, and the quiet beauty found in details done well.
After nearly twenty years, I stepped away from business to spend the next two decades serving in nonprofit and ministry leadership. That season shaped me in a different way. It reinforced the importance of integrity, humility, dependability, and caring well for others—values that guide every aspect of HomeTending today.
HomeTending brings those experiences together.
HomeTending is an expression of those two worlds coming together—the creativity and discipline of design with the perspective gained from years of serving others.
